On-Line Privacy Statement

Promisor Relocation respects the privacy rights of our users. In order to best safeguard your privacy rights, we have adopted this On-Line Privacy Statement to explain how we collect, store and use the information you provide.

This site may appear branded under Promisor’s name or branded as a private label service for an organization or corporation with which you are affiliated. This On-Line Privacy Statement applies to the portions of the site related to the move coordination services provided by Promisor Relocation and does not apply to the site of the organization or corporation through which you accessed this site.

What information is collected?

Initially, Promisor Relocation only collects contact information from people interested in receiving more information about Promisor's services. If you elect to use Promisor's move coordination services, you will be asked to provide sufficient information to enable Promisor to perform the services on your behalf. Such information will depend on your particular situation and the services which Promisor will coordinate, but may include information about your current residence, reasons for your move, preferences for your new residence, etc.

What does Promisor Relocation do with your personal information?

The information will be used by Promisor to perform the move coordination services for you. Promisor acts as a coordinator to assist you with managing the service providers involved in your move process. Accordingly, Promisor shares your personal information with third party service providers to the extent necessary for such parties to fulfill their roles. Also, Promisor may occasionally hire consultants or other service providers that may need access to your personal information to assist Promisor in performing its services for you.

Promisor may use the information to notify you about special news and opportunities from Promisor and its partners. If you are accessing the Promisor service through a partner site or a co-branded site, we reserve the right to share your information with that referring partner. Occasionally, we may be approached by a third party that wants to inform you about an opportunity that we believe you would be interested in. In such cases, we will only give these third parties the information necessary to contact you. Such third parties will only be able to use your contact information for that specific use and we will require that they keep the information confidential.

Promisor reserves the right to disclose your personal information when we have reason to believe that the law requires it, or as necessary to protect the rights, property, customers, clients or partners of Promisor.

Does Promisor Relocation track usage and aggregate information?

Promisor may track your usage of the site when you are logged-in or through use of your IP address for the purpose of system administration and to audit the use of our site. Promisor's servers may also log information such as browser, operating system and Internet provider. This information, as well as keeping record of the number of people who visit our site and where they visit the most, helps us keep the site technologically compatible and efficient for our users.

Promisor may also aggregate information regarding its users to provide demographic information and other statistics to its partners. In such event, your information shall be "cleansed" so that it is not personally identifiable to you.

What is this site's relationship to third party Web sites?

Some of the services available through this Web site, such as "Community Information" or other services identified as "powered by . . . .", are provided by third parties that have their own privacy policies that may be different than ours. How does Promisor Relocation safeguard your personal information?

In order to protect the privacy and integrity of all the personal identifying information we receive from you on our Web sites, Promisor has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. We restrict access to the Promisor servers and the personal information we store there by using a log-in and password process. We strongly encourage that you do not disclose your log-in name or password to anyone. The personal information is also protected by a firewall designed to keep unauthorized users from accessing our internal network.

Promisor will also take reasonable measures to insure that third parties which have access to your personal information will also take the proper steps to protect this information.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we take reasonable efforts to protect your information, Promisor cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit or receive over the Internet, and you do so at your own risk.

How does Promisor Relocation allow you to review and update your personal information?

If you are using Promisor Relocation's personal move coordination services, you will be supplied with a log-in and password. You may access your information through your on-line Move Coordinator. You may instruct Promisor to revise or update any and all of your information displayed in your MoveCoordinator by contacting your Personal Relocation Manager.

What about users under 13 years of age?

Promisor is targeting its services to the adults in the household that are making the decisions involved in moving. Accordingly, Promisor does not anticipate that any of its users will be under the age of 13. Promisor will not collect any information from users which it has reason to know are under 13 years of age.

What about "cookies"?

Promisor may use "cookies" to tailor your MoveCoordinator and your experience on this site to best meet your needs. Cookies are pieces of information that a Web site transfers to your computer's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies make using the Web more efficient for you by storing your preferences for this site on your computer. The only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.
